Artists

First Off, What We Do.

For some artists, we handle every part of their well-being, from business management to creative advocacy. For others, we do the legwork when an album cycle comes around. For the rest, we’re a friendly voice on the other end of the line when a contract needs perusing, an album is begging to be licensed, or an online distribution ecosystem needs to be built.

Like any good manager, we know stuff. Like what makes an artist successful in the post-digital age. And the various side projects of Steven Malkmus, in chronological order. But we also happen to know what a CMS is. And what SEO is. And more importantly, how to make them work for one another – so our artists don’t have to. Bands are businesses, after all. And like any business, specialization is paramount. Contact us to learn more.

The Arms Akimbo

The Arms Akimbo was formally established in the spring of 2009. The beginnings, however, date to almost a decade beforehand when members, Nick (26) and Ian (24) Schaser and Chris Dillon (26) played together throughout the Twin Cities as The Serfs, even though none of the boys would have been legally allowed in clubs under normal circumstances. The full length followup to their wildly successful 2009 EP is forthcoming.

The Madison Square Gardeners

The Madison Square Gardeners are probably too loud, but that’s the way they like it. With a collection of sing-along songs and three- part harmony guitar solos, this band who follows The Heartbreakers (Petty AND Thunders!) as their musical road map has come out of almost nowhere, taking the Brooklyn music scene by storm. Their latest EP, Tune it Up, Dime It Out, is available now, and a new album will be released in October.
